NO ONE STEP BACK
The ability to control one’s body, is intrinsic to controlling one’s life.
And that is because abortion is not (just) a health issue. Whether we are willing
to let women and
people capable of becoming pregnant, control their own bodies,
is an equity issue
a question of who deserves bodily autonomy and freedom to reach their full
potential. “When control rests elsewhere, autonomy remains perpetually out of
reach,”
histories of annihilation, cohercion and abuse, are just a mirror of what
governments told men about womens rights:
rape as been called a property crime against other men until the previous century
Governments have a lead role to play by fulfilling obligations under human rights
treaties and altering social, political, institutional and economic structures
that reinforce gender inequalities.

HERSTORY UNTOLD
Continuiamo a piangerci addosso,
a rinchiuderci soli in case,
stanze, appartamenti, paesi, scatole, ospedali psichiatrici, prigioni vere e
finte,
continuiamo a voler essere solo in posti sicuri, con persone sicure, credendoci al
sicuro,
senza mai confrontarci con persone e realta' differenti, giudicando altri con
somma sapienza,
disprezzando chi non la pensa come noi, credendo che la ragione sia sempre dalla
nostra parte...
quella ferita, frustrata e arrabbiata...
Ci procliamiamo paladini della giustizia, non ci mettiamo in discussione, avuti.
Spaventati dal futuro,
cerchiamo di scrivere il nostro manifesto, la nostra storia. Scordandoci delle
storie di chi ci circonda,
e di chi non ha ancora avuto la forza di raccontarle.
Abbracciamo lo status quo per poi distruggerlo,
deconstruiamo ponti dentro di noi, e nel frattempo costruiamo dighe per colmare le
lacrime che continuano
a sgorgare in noi e accanto a noi.
Quant* di noi, predicando uguaglianza e liberta' si fanno in 4 per aiutare persone
lontane,
ma si comportano male con coloro che l* circondano.
Cosa possiamo fare per non impazzire in un mondo al tramonto dei suoi giorni come
il nostro
se non continuare a vivere fino in fondo
continuando a ricostruirci distruggerci per poi rinascere proprie ceneri, gridando
e cambiando
ruolo, nome, vite
e uccidendo cliche' di noi stessi.
Sormontando la paura della fine
Un giorno mi avrete, ma fino ad allora, quando la nebbia avvolgera' la mia mente e
la spegnera',
faro' che cazzo mi pare.
Macchiate espressamente di tempo deprimente!!Cercando quelle pillole che ti
sfiocano la mente!
C'e' chi viene obbligato, prigioniero politico, ma tu, davvero ne sei cosciente?
Abituate fin da giovane eta', a prendere la pillola perche' ci sta!
